Global Partners LP is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Category Manager to oversee the Hot Foods grab & go and made-to-order (MTO) categories within our convenience store network. The Senior Category Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction in these key categories. - Category Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute category strategies and annual business plans for Hot Foods programs, aligning with overall company objectives and customer preferences.
- Conduct market analysis, consumer research, and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in the category.
- Product Assortment and Selection:
- Curate and manage the product assortment for Hot Foods and made-to-order food programs, selecting items that meet customer demand, market trends, and profitability targets.
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and culinary teams to source high-quality ingredients, recipes, and menu items for the category.
- Promotions and Pricing:
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and merchandising initiatives to drive traffic, increase sales, and enhance profitability in the category.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze promotional effectiveness, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business goals.
- New Product Development:
- Collaborate with product development teams to identify and develop new menu items, recipes, and concepts for the Hot Foods and made-to-order food programs.
- Conduct product testing, concept validation, and market research to ensure new offerings meet customer expectations and business requirements.
- Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients, packaging materials, and equipment for the category.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms to optimize supplier relationships and control costs.
- Quality Assurance and Food Safety:
- Implement and enforce quality assurance and food safety standards for hot foods and made-to-order food programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and training sessions to uphold food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to assess category performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate category performance, trends, and insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with team management and leadership skills.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in category management, product marketing, or related roles, preferably in the convenience store or foodservice industry.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Passion for customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
