Quality Receiving Clerk -Packaging

Overview of the Position: Primarily assists PMA receiving with all receiving functions, aids with packaging/labeling as required, and various other duties in the quality department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Assist with PMA part receiving and shipping, to include receiving inspection and receiving documentation review
  • Repackage/label/lubricate PMA parts per drawing requirements or as needed
  • Perform special packaging requirements of distribution parts
  • Build PMA kits
  • Take pictures and weights to assist sales in completing sales packets
  • Assist quality lab with serialization of parts
  • Support outbound quality inspections in the warehouse
  • Plan and coordinate daily activities to maximize efficiency and meet departmental goals
  • Dispose of product that has been designated as scrap
  • Other duties as necessary and assigned



Education/Experience Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers and related data collection functions.
  • Previous quality assurance or aerospace industry related experience is a plus.
  • Previous M3 experience is a plus

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; and lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Vision Requirements:


    • Minimum 20/25 corrected vision.
    • Pass Color Vision eye exam.



  • Is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Is frequently required to talk or listen.
  • Works in moderate noise levels.
