Overview of the Position: Flexible part-time position assisting with the design of FAA approved aftermarket aircraft parts

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Use precision metrology measurement tools to analyze parts
  • Use 3D CAD software to develop and interpret drawings and scans
  • Support metrology and engineering as necessary
  • Manage time effectively and consistently meet task deadlines
  • Create dimensional data reports in Excel
  • Work closely with engineering and metrology groups to ensure departmental goals are achieved

  • Good oral/written communication skills
  • Quickly learn various metrology tools and concepts
  • Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting ability
  • Perform metrology best practices to ensure proper measurement results
  • Safe and proper handling of parts
  • Navigate Siemans Teamcenter PLM software
  • Ability to present a professional demeanor and work habits
  • Computer skills using Windows and MS Office Suite

Education / Experience Requirements: Concurrent enrollment in university courses -- Engineering discipline preferred
