Overview

The Food Services Manager plans, coordinates and controls specific operations within the food services department. Responsible for the maintaining of all processes and systems within food services.

Additional responsibilities include:

    Directing and coordinating employee daily activities, potentially in multiple facilities.
  • Planning and supervising daily activities, training of safety and education and attending educational forums.
  • Recommending program strategies to implement strategies and policies and procedures for operations.
  • Evaluate, maintain and monitor the performance of the department.
  • Understand departmental operating budget, ensure operations are within budget.
  • Establish responsibilities for each employee and ensure employees understand expectations.

Work Schedule: Weekday Schedule Monday-Friday. Occasional nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Trade or vocational school in a related field
  • Three to five years of experience in a heath care setting at a management level
