The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a qualified Network Engineer II (Range Network) to support our government customer out of Kekaha, Hawai'i. Provides network engineering support, security, administration, and management to all classified and unclassified PMRF mission specific networks. Configures and maintains routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices in accordance with DoD/DoN/PMRF policy. Provides network centric Cyber Security subject matter expertise. Provides system wide troubleshooting and problem resolution both in "stand-down" as well as "live" mission environments. This includes STIG compliance as well as PMRF policy. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Office conditions are varied and includes physical tasks including lifting, pushing or pulling up to 25-50 pounds (Must be able to lift, carry, install and remove networking systems and peripherals). Physical positions will include but not be limited to walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, crawling, kneeling, stooping or cramped working places (Must be able to work in sub-floor areas and crawl space in performing maintenance inspections, installation and troubleshooting tasks) and work requiring repeated or frequent climbing. Environment will include customer contact, extended workdays, an office laboratory environment with field assignments, sometimes in inclement weather. General office environment with site visits as well as periodic "at sea" duty to support the PMRF's Mobile at Sea Sensor system (MATSS). REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
