Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Java Architect with AWS and Angular, an individual with experience with microservices architecture & designing payment solutions Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate

Job Location: Mountain View, CA

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture & designing payment solutions
• Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Key Qualifications:

• 12 + years of experience
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Lead the design and development of software solutions using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, and JavaScript.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and scalability of the software.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 12/30/24.

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $110,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
