Job Description

This Administrative Associate (Office Support Assistant IV) position provides administrative support to School of Accountancy faculty/staff, students, and alumni. The role involves handling office and administrative coordination responsibilities for the School and providing assistance to its 150-Hour & Master's Programs Director and Assistant Director, PhD coordinator, faculty, and students.

The job involves serving as Administrative Associate for the School of Accountancy and liaising with faculty/staff, students, and alumni on various administrative, scheduling, and paperwork matters. Examples include helping with School of Accountancy events and functions (e.g., advisory board meetings, faculty meetings, corporate and accounting firm events), assistance with setting up various speaker events (e.g., symposia, educational forums, research workshops, alumni visits), and preparing alumni and donor correspondence. The role also involves assistance with School of Accountancy class scheduling needs and managing reservations for various events, coordinating the preparation of public relations materials (e.g., newsletter, fact sheets, event announcements, poster boards, portfolios), and handling itineraries and various logistics for faculty and Ph.D. student recruiting as well as research workshop visitors. The position also involves assisting the School's academic program directors, faculty, and students with scheduling or paperwork matters.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

40 hours a week

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $14.51 - $17.75 an hour

Grade: GGS 06
