Acara Solutions has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Zeiss CMM Programmer / Quality Control Technician using Calypso software in Rochester, NY.

Pay Rate: $25+/hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Overtime: Voluntarily
Duration: Temp to Hire (will consider DIRECT HIRE)

Job Details

  1. The CMM Programmer writes on Zeiss CMM using Calypso software
  2. Performs Quality Control (QC) Technician inspections and completes required documentation per quality plans.
  3. Completes in-process inspections, as well as First Piece and other inspections as assigned, and works to promote problem resolution.
  4. Works with engineering and Molding Supervisor relating to fixture design

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
1) Must have a High School Diploma or GED
2) Must have Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience and proficiency with Zeiss Calypso software
3) Must have at least two years MS Office Suite experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
1) College degree preferred
2) Previous inspection experience including optical measurements
3) Very good visual acuity a must
4) Leadership skills a plus.
5) Writing part inspection plans
