The Clinical Nurse Director is responsible for the overall management and clinical performance of the surgery centers.

This is a full-time opportunity that will provide leadership to all of the Summit Ambulatory Surgery Center locations. The role will be based at our Landmark Surgery Center in Woodbury, MN, but will require travel between the different locations and the Corporate campus.

• Acts as risk manager for the centers in compliance with Federal and State agency directives: HCFA, State Board of Health, OSHA, PCA, NFPA, and other credentialing agencies.
• Functions as technical resource to staff and physicians by maintaining clinical competency in perioperative nursing.
• Effects and enforces policies and procedures of the centers and Summit Orthopedics.
• Establishes and maintains working relationships with external and internal contractors and vendors.

Summit's hiring range for this position is $143,857.38 to $179,821.60 per year. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. Bachelors of Nursing (preferred)
Associates of Nursing (required)

Post-basic Operating Room education, CNOR is desirable. (preferred)
5 years: Clinical management experience in a health-care setting. Previous experience working in a freestanding ambulatory surgery center is desirable. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. (required)
