THE JOB:

The Conversion Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless transition between events by overseeing and facilitating day-to-day conversion operations. This position is responsible for coordinating and leading the team to ensure all event setups and teardowns are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. The Conversion Lead is essential to maintaining the highest standards of execution while adapting to the dynamic needs of a fast-paced event environment.

STARTING RATE:$19.71 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Staging Setup and Dismantle: Assemble and disassemble event components such as risers, chairs, bleachers, house drapes, carpeting, portable flooring, boxing rings, and other staging elements.

  • Forklift Operations: Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment required for event setup and arena operations.

  • Equipment Maintenance and Storage: Store equipment in designated areas and perform minor maintenance to ensure readiness and functionality.

  • Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks associated with event production.

  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside Conversion Tech II staff to complete all conversion-related responsibilities efficiently.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as requested.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

  • Availability: Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead teams of 3-12 individuals effectively, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools for event setup and related tasks.

  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in conversion, stage production, or working in public venues and event-related facilities.

  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients, vendors, and team members.

  • Adaptability: Ability to handle dynamic work environments and shifting priorities while maintaining high-quality results.
