Job Description

This is a grant-funded position that will recruit participants for the All of Us Research Program. This person will be instrumental in helping to recruit over 800 participants per year over the next four years. Because this person will also be fluent in Spanish, they will assist in community engagement and outreach in the Hispanic community throughout Missouri. The All of Us Research Program is a large-scale, longitudinal precision medicine research program that seeks to create the world's largest and most diverse biobank. This person's main role will be educating and informing the public about this exciting opportunity.

- Must carry out all research protocol and processes with strong attention to detail and little room for error and help others to do the same.
- Must be comfortable interacting with people from all backgrounds and want to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ultimately this is a sales position, so this person will make multiple cold calls every day to potential participants and engage with them about health, research, and other related topics. They must be comfortable helping strangers navigate computer systems and research consent forms and information. They will also approach people in the hospital setting and engage at community events.
- Since this will be a small staff, this person's main role will be recruiting, but in addition to leading Hispanic engagement, they may be asked to participate in other outreach and engagement activities and assist in the clinical procedures, as well.
-This will be a small staff group that will need many specialized skills, so persons who speak other languages, have phlebotomy training, and who have significant community engagement, or sales experience will be highly considered.
- Must be comfortable navigating secure computer systems to track program participants and collected specimens, plus Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- There is significant room for growth and experience in program planning, budgeting and reporting, IRB compliance and federal programs and grant operations.
