Job Description
Nature of Work
- Prepares cost, planning and procedural analyses of management operations and activities in order to assist with the establishment and analysis of data within the university information systems and to provide timely response and access to university information.
- Understands how the team integrates with others to accomplish team objectives
- Researches information, collects data, and prepares analyses/reports (e.g., data, budget, billing, purchasing), as assigned
- Completes routine tasks and assignments
- Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on practice and existing precedents or procedures
- Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team
- Explains information to and within the team, noting improvements, efficiencies, anomalies, etc. to manager/supervisor and/or appropriate team member
- Serves as a liaison inside and outside the team when resolving routine matters
Key Responsibilities (to be completed by department)
- Assist with various projects as assigned.
- Manage information requests- such as evidence letters and order COI's.
- File management which includes organization of claim files, policy folders and yearly record retention.
- Enter claims and incidents into database.
- Building coordinator- Mail sorting, order supplies, coordinate with repairmen and ongoing construction, replenish breakroom supplies, etc.
- Facilitate insurance verifications, review and produce malpractice history letters as needed.
- Answer inquiries and enter Workers' compensation incident reports
- Maintain Department Website.
- Manage vehicle database- entering new vehicles and answering insurance questions.
- Produce Non-PO voucher payments for monthly bills, and settlement payments.
- Follow procedures in place when using University Credit cards.
- Answer the shared email box to answer or direct to the correct individual to handle.
- Schedule travel and large group meetings.

- Possesses a broad understanding of the job and financial and/or accounting responsibilities
- Applies skills and knowledge in a variety of processes, procedures and systems that impact business and fiscal operations/units
Shift
Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, additional hours as needed
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range
