Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 15 to 18 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning estimation tracking time management quality management scope management risk management cost and budget management and stakeholder management. Experience with MS Project and Agile PLM is essential. A background in the medical devices domain is a plus. This is a hybrid role with no travel required.

Responsibilities

Lead project planning activities to ensure project goals are met within the specified timeline and budget.

Oversee project estimation processes to provide accurate and realistic project timelines and costs.

Provide continuous project tracking to monitor progress and identify any potential issues.

Implement effective project time management strategies to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Ensure project quality management by adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Manage project scope to prevent scope creep and ensure project objectives are met.

Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on project delivery.

Oversee project cost and budget management to ensure financial objectives are achieved.

Utilize Scrum methodologies to enhance project efficiency and team collaboration.

Manage project stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.

Develop and manage project budgets to ensure financial resources are allocated effectively.

Utilize MS Project to plan track and manage project activities.

Implement Agile PLM processes to streamline project management activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and senior management.

Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.

Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Provide guidance and support to project team members.

Contribute to the companys overall success by delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Impact society by delivering innovative solutions in the medical devices domain.

Qualifications

Possess strong project planning estimation and tracking skills.

Demonstrate expertise in project time quality scope and risk management.

Have experience in project cost and budget management.

Be proficient in Scrum and Agile PLM methodologies.

Have strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Be proficient in using MS Project for project management.

Experience in the medical devices domain is a plus.

Have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

Have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality projects.

Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
