Division Analyst ObGyn-REI-Core Full Time 82763BR Job Summary The Division Analyst will manage the full general operations of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) as well as additional division specific programs that may include the Fellowship Program in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, & Reproductive Sciences. The Division Analyst will serve as the main liaison of the REI Division in partnership with the Director of Administration and provide direct support to the Division Chief, Program Directors (e.g. Division, Fellowship, etc.), and faculty members, ensuring that Division operates at the level of excellence expected by the UCSF community and our external constituents. The individual will communicate on behalf of the Chief and Program Directors (e.g. Division, Fellowship, etc.) with UCSF faculty and leadership, funders, the public and governmental agencies. This position will receive general direction from the Division Chiefs, Program Directors, faculty members and/or the Director of Administration in the form of objectives with deadline driven goals. The Division Analyst will be responsible for maintaining project deliverables of the division and creating project timelines to ensure operational efficiency across multiple entities that the REI Division interacts with. The position will also manage the maintenance of REI standard operating procedures and will handle communications regarding any new process improvement developments or changes in the existing processes. Additional duties may also include managing complex calendar appointments, meeting setup for multiple leadership entities with conflicting demands and medium to largescale events and arranging complex international/domestic travel requests as well as processing expense reimbursements. In addition to these responsibilities, this position will be collaborating with the CRH/REI Analyst to provide seamless coverage for all the administrative activities of the Division that include but are not limited to, as well as may serve as a floater for other Divisions in the Department: * Organizing multi-layered interviews for faculty recruitments as well as onboarding/off boarding; Facilitating logistics for division meetings and/or events; providing backup support to the individual divisions; drafting and editing high-level correspondences, update CVs, edit scientific manuscripts including journal articles, abstracts, and book chapters as directed by the Chief, Director(s), faculty members; may act as a central liaison for information related to the division for both ancillary divisions and external organizations, as needed. This position will also serve as back-up to the CRH/REI Analyst and acts as the REI safety coordinator for vacation, leaves, etc. Administers facilities and space logistics and manages equipment needs. Develops and implements procedures for equipment inventory. The Division Analyst must be able to triage and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, work independently with minimal supervision, remain current in technological applications, be exceedingly well-organized and flexible, be a pragmatic problem-solver and a team player, with excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to details. Diplomacy and tact are essential, together with excellent verbal and written communication skills Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $29.05 - $53.50 (Hourly Rate).
