Job Summary

This position is responsible for processing and coordinating Capital and Non-Capital equipment requests for new incoming equipment that is supported by Clinical Engineering, provides back up support for front reception/dispatcher duties, performs in-checking of all packages delivered to the Clinical Engineering department and provides other administrative and clerical support for the Clinical Engineering Department. Accounts Payable (Cap / Non-Cap, parts and inventory) in, Processing. Use computer systems, interfaces, and web-based applications systems, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Smartsheets, Outlook, Ecotime, Kuali, Lawson

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and ability to use varied computer systems, interfaces and web-based systems, such as: Kuali, Lawson, ECRI On-Line, MS Office, Ecotime.
  • Thorough knowledge in administrative procedures and processes including word procession applications, Spreadsheets, Outlook, databases
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.
  • General knowledge of California sales and use tax regulations and discounts and freight terminology
  • Requires good verbal and written communication skills, active listening skills, critical thinking skills, and multi-tasking skills with time management skills.
  • Requires interpersonal skills and work leadership skills.
  • Excellent telephone and personal communication skills.
  • Basic mathematics skills
  • Knowledge of filing techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a service-based environment
  • Experience in Accounts Payable processing.
  • Experience and knowledge to use computer systems, interfaces, and web-based applications systems, such as; Microsoft Office, Excel, Smartsheets, Outlook, Ecotime, Kuali, Lawson.
  • Knowledge of UC, UCD, and UCDH Policies and Procedures.
  • 10-key by touch/sight and excellent with numbers.
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Work Environment

UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014.
