WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Supervises and coordinates activities of Electricians engaged in construction, maintenance and repair of electric power and lighting systems of plant and product buildings through:
- Plans wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers, and panel boards.
- Inspects wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications or local electrical codes.
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Maintains time and production records
- Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials
- Confers with other staff to coordinate activities of individual departments
- Sets up machines and equipment
- Performs activities of workers supervised.
- Performs quality control testing of product buildings for compliance to intended operations performance, corrects installation defects and provides process follow-up documentation.
- Endeavors to create a workplace environment that is enjoyable, engenders pride in the product and focus on the customer, and provides room for individual responsibilities and ideas.
YOU HAVE: - 6+ years experience or training in the installation and mainetenace of electrical wiring and equipment
- 5+ years of supervisory experience of electricians.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license required with strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems through gathering and analyzing of information.
- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, properly planning, developing and delegating team members.
- Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands including working within a manufacturing environment, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequently stand, stoop, kneel and crouch. WE HAVE:
