Job Description

We are currently hiring a Sr. Manager* Supply Chain Learning and Development in Breinigsville, PA.

The Senior Manager, Integrated Supply Chain Learning and Development is responsible for leading, developing, and engaging a dedicated team of Integrated Supply Chain coworkers across Boston Beer Company's manufacturing sites and corporate office. The team, and this leader, focus on the broad learning needs of the Integrated Supply Chain department while promoting leadership development initiatives. This person will bring a passion for learning, strong influencing skills, creative problem-solving, and a bias for action. They must be fluent in Operational Excellence strategies (Lean 6Sigma), the TPM Pillars, in particular: L&D. Leadership and Organization and the content of AM, PM, and FI. They will have deployed learning technology tools and recognize the pace at which Boston Beer is leveraging these to transform. Our ideal candidate will influence effectively across the Integrated Supply Chain team as well as with key stakeholders to create and deliver content to support coworker growth and development. This role is an important contributor to future Boston Beer Company growth.

*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.

What You'll Brew:

Learning Strategy Development: Drives the Integrated Supply Chain Learning Strategy to meet volume goals and engage coworkers across Boston Beer sites. Champions a culture of learning, performance, inclusion, and enablement. Provides regular and meaningful feedback to others through development, coaching, and comprehensive performance reviews

Stakeholder Collaboration: Works with Integrated Supply Chain and People and Culture leaders to identify and validate training and development needs

Curriculum Creation: Develop training programs that support Operational Excellence initiatives and communicate objectives clearly to all employees

Business Transformation Partnership: Partners in change management on key projects, handling the full cycle from design to success measurement

Effective Learning Delivery: Designs high-quality learning experiences in various formats and evaluates their impact while supporting the transition to high-performing teams

Leadership: Guides the ISC Learning and Development team toward the achievement of business goal. Ensures that team members maintain an understanding of Operational Excellence programs and can speak to the ISC Learning strategy in a compelling way. Sets clear expectations and direction and hold them accountable to achieve their goals and perform their jobs

Working Conditions

May be required to periodically lift and/or move objects up to 50lbs

Ability to sit in front of a computer, tablet, etc. for an extended period of time

Bending, twisting and reaching

Must adhere to PPE requirement

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:



  • 15 plus years of progressive Leadership/Org Development/Learning and Development experience within an Integrated Supply Chain function, preferably across multiple food and/or beverage manufacturing sites
  • Proven experience building, implementing, and improving operational processes
  • Proven experience leading the design and delivery of Operational Excellence learning and development solutions for salaried and hourly coworkers within an Integrated Supply Chain function
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning theories and methodologies, change theories and industry, best practices with the ability to apply them through multiple modalities using a variety of technologies
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in leading, managing and inspiring a team



Level: 4

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $117,300 and $182,000, However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
