The Role Profile Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Reliability Specialist is responsible for implementing and driving standardization of reliability best practices for packaging equipment across the site. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance and operational standards. Additionally, this role will help to develop and support periodic system inspections, build a planned downtime forecast, manage communications, and develop a local program at the site. This role will also provide support for and collaborate with other sites having like equipment. Key responsibilities include the following:
Development, maintenance, and execution of the corporate preventative maintenance program for specific equipment in alignment with the Operational Excellence program. The role includes working with the plant maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to develop and implement maintenance protocols for the equipment infrastructure, agree on program metrics and targets, identify projects in alignment with Asset Care practices and business objectives, ensure program consistency and track progress of defined metrics. Performing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyses on defined equipment to ensure that best practice Preventative and Predictive maintenance is being applied. Collaborate with department heads, training resources, and supervisors to assess training needs across various levels and functions within the manufacturing facility. Coach and develop operating resources in the proper care and operation of the equipment, providing technical expertise and guidance. Develop training modules to create a standard knowledge base and operator qualification program to ensure consistent operation of equipment across the site. Provide inspections, emergency support and troubleshooting of equipment. Train Operators and Maintenance personnel in a classroom setting with the facilitation of hands-on exercises and simulations. Create an operator asset care list, centerlines, and training modules. Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the organization, promoting opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Member of Operational Excellence ACR Pillar. Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline preferred, or equivalent demonstrated experience 5+ years of field support experience in manufacturing environment Preferred Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (C.M.R.P.) certification preferred Experience developing and implementing training programs Demonstrated experience successfully leading projects Experience and passion for introducing new techniques (i.e. change agent) Strong leadership, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving mindset Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems using Root Cause Problem Solving methods Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team, interfacing with multiple functions at plant and corporate levels. Knowledge of Predictive Maintenance technologies, such as thermography, vibration analysis, oil analysis, and Non-Destructive Test methods. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) specifically Alchemy, Aveva Teamwork, e-learning authoring tools, and other training technologies. Ability to teach and train maintenance techs, operators, engineers and managers.

Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $70,600-$101,400
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
