In this role, you will:

Client Engagement and Delivery



  • Lead the creation of data governance architectures, ensuring alignment with customer business requirements and technical goals.
  • Assess client data environments, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities to enable AI-driven innovation.
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and processes to address business, compliance, and operational needs.
  • Coordinate governance activities across data owner networks to ensure proper use of data and information.
  • Implement governance processes and tools to foster effective communication between data consumers and data providers.


Practice Development



  • Define strategic priorities for enterprise data and information governance methodologies and frameworks.
  • Champion the use of data quality, certification, metadata, and reference data across engagements.
  • Collaborate with internal practice leads to integrate data governance and AI readiness into broader organizational strategies.
  • Contribute to the design and development of hybrid data governance models that support in-house, cloud, and mixed environments.


Business Development



  • Partner with sales and business development teams to identify opportunities in data governance and AI readiness.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and statements of work tailored to client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor.


Billable Utilization



  • Maintain high levels of billable utilization by delivering exceptional client services.
  • Balance client delivery with internal responsibilities, including practice and business development.



Who You Are:



  • 5+ years of experience in professional services or consulting with a focus on data governance, data strategy, or AI readiness.
  • Hands-on experience applying data governance disciplines across various data domains and industries.
  • Proven ability to develop data retention policies, governance frameworks, and custom processes to address compliance needs.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools such as Informatica, Ataccama, Alation, Collibra, or similar platforms.
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of data stewardship, data ownership, and data access rights.
  • Expertise in applying master data management and hybrid governance models.
  • Demonstrated history of championing the use of data quality, metadata, and reference data.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a track record of working across
