Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Governance Lead to join our Corporate Transformation Office. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective execution of our long-range plan and transformation efforts. You will have a strong finance background, exceptional analytical abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for monitoring progress against budget, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing regular, accurate reports to stakeholders. In this position, you will serve as the single source of truth regarding the progress of our transformation initiatives and will be instrumental in driving accountability and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

As a Government Lead, your duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Oversight:Monitor and analyze financial performance against the long-range plan and transformation budget. Provide weekly reports on actual vs. budget expenditures, identifying any discrepancies and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
  • Transformation Progress Tracking:Collaborate with other Transformation Office leads and cross-functional teams to define KPIs and metrics for measuring the progress of transformation efforts. Establish clear guidelines and frameworks for tracking and reporting on key initiatives.
  • Governance and Accountability:Serve as the primary point of contact for governance-related matters within the Corporate Transformation Office. Ensure adherence to established processes and protocols, holding team members and stakeholders accountable for meeting objectives and deadlines.
  • Reporting and Communication:Prepare comprehensive reports in coordination with the rest of the Transformation team and presentations summarizing the status of transformation initiatives, including key milestones, achievements, and challenges. Present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Risk Management:Identify potential risks and obstacles to the successful execution of transformation initiatives. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and escalate issues to senior management as needed.
Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budget management, and performance tracking within a corporate environment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in reporting and analysis
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across functional areas
