The Opportunity:

As the Sr. Manager - Content Licensing, Library (Non-Acquisition Titles), you will identify and build new, exclusive, and strategic content partnerships with studios and independent content workers for Library films and series in the U.S. and Canada. You will own relationships with content partners including leading licensing negotiations and process management throughout contact execution, materials delivery. This role requires collaboration with internal teams in the U.S. and Korea including Programming and Product to merchandise/market content investment.



  • Help develop the financial framework and guardrails for Library content, including KPIs and forecasting
  • Conduct frequent and ongoing analysis using market trends and platform usage data to refine licensing decisions.
  • Perform competitive analysis of other SVOD and AVOD/FAST services.
  • Conduct financial analysis using viewership data to build ROI guardrails and use these to guide acquisition decisions.
  • Lead licensing negotiations for flat fee and MG library content in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in Channels, Global Strategy, and Product to merchandise the library investment.


Qualifications:

Required:



  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience at a studio, agency, streamer, or content owner
  • Based in Los Angeles or NYC
  • Robust content knowledge (franchises, streaming originals, broadcast series, etc.)
  • Knowledge of AVOD and FAST monetization.
  • Demonstrated experience with distribution contracts.
  • Deep knowledge of windowing and the steaming landscape, Library content, and rights holders.
  • Strong industry relationships.


Preferred:



  • Analytical experience in finance, data analytics, economics preferred.
  • Ability to navigate international cultures, work across time zones.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally when required to meet with stakeholders and check in on production.
