ABOUT THE ROLE

The Manager, Portfolio Management provides E2E process & portfolio support to ICB, as well as Cross-Category Delivery leadership for data management, reporting and analytics capabilities across the BU. This leader will collaboratively develop goals to connect data analytics, process improvement and business strategies that drive operational excellence and enable holistic portfolio management against ICB business objectives. They will manage tools that can support existing and emerging business processes to drive growth through prioritized portfolio management, as well as oversee the E2E Product Development process. As a people leader, this position is responsible for the development of team members in portfolio management, business analytics and coaching for problems to be solved. Also, this position will be accountable for the communication and deployment of system enhancements (e.g. both project management and change management) aligned with BPT and ICB strategic roadmaps. This leader will build ways of working that connect category and regionally based teams to deliver on growth ambitions with speed and agility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attract, develop and retain talent while fostering a performance-driven culture and delivering ICB business objectives.
  • Develop those in reporting organization through training opportunities, coaching, and performance management practices including conducting annual performance reviews, management succession, and development activities.
  • Lead the system infrastructure management and business analytics strategy for ICB product development projects and category portfolios.
  • E2E Process ownership including best practices, required deliverables, and ICB operating model for process navigation.
  • Develop business solutions that provide visibility to organizational metrics and deliver continuous improvement and maturity progression in process and data analytics.
  • Lead initiatives that simplify and improve effectiveness of project management tools and data management.
  • Work with functional and technical leadership as well as stakeholders to ensure data integrity.
  • Support development of new capabilities for PMs (Global and Regional) and serve as change agent through the PM CoP.
  • Serve as the Cross-Category organizational contact for BPT program partnership and manage strategic relationships with key technology partners outside SCJ.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Sciences or Arts), or related field and at least 7 years of Consumer packaged goods work experience
  • Master's Degree in Engineering (Sciences or Arts), or related field and at least 5 years of Consumer packaged goods work experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
  • Proven ability to lead/manage across countries, functions, divisions, and management levels
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills, including strong evidence of cross-functional partnerships/relationships
  • Ability to influence cross-functional leaders at multiple levels of the organization to drive behavior and process changes
  • Broad knowledge of current ICB product portfolios and project data systems
  • Experience working with both global and regional teams across business units and HQ functions
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex business processes into system tools
  • Passion for critical thinking, problem solving and technology solutions
  • Data management, performance management or data analytic experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is Full-Time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday
  • Office work environment: Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
  • Ability to lift 10 - 40 pounds
  • Travel up to 10%
