At HDR, our employee-owners are fully engaged in creating a welcoming environment where each of us is valued and respected, a place where everyone is empowered to bring their authentic selves and novel ideas to work every day. As we work to weave diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and foster a sense of belonging throughout the company and within our communities, we constantly ask ourselves: What is our impact on the world? The electric energy industry is rapidly changing. The increasing commissioning of variable energy resources combined with carbon reduction pressures and increasing demand are requiring bold evolutions from the power generation industry of the past. Power generation fleets are forced to rapidly change to meet lower cost and lower carbon emission initiatives. At the same time, our power generation clients are rapidly expanding beyond traditional providers to include developers and distributed generation owners. HDR is seeking a strategic-minded Power Generation Practice Leader to partner with our clients to sculpt their strategies around diversification of their power sources for the next generation. Who you are You are an industry leader and well recognized in the power generation market. You are passionate about being a strategic, comprehensive solutions provider and you embrace the transformational changes of the power industry to transition to a lower carbon emissions future. You bring a strategic and comprehensive solution mindset to support our clients during this transition. You are an enthusiastic leader with innovative ideas and have the ability to lead teams of all generations in a rapidly evolving and complex industry. You are a driver who makes things happen. You're an 'ideas' person with high levels of emotional intelligence which helps you gain greater insight into client needs and leverage high performance technical teams to achieve goals. You're just as comfortable having an in-depth one-on-one discussion as you are presenting in the board room or a making a technical presentation in a crowded convention center. You are as dedicated about the success of your co-workers as you are your own. Things don't 'sit' with you - you have a natural fire within yourself to keep things moving and to keep other focused on the goals of our team in the more respectful, professional manner.
