Rutgers New Jersey Medical School ( NJMS) seeks qualified candidate at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Division of General Internal Medicine who are board certified/board eligible in Obesity Medicine. The selected candidate will provide support to grow the Medical Weight Management program in the Division of General Internal Medicine. Responsibilities will include patient care, research, and teaching (medical students and resident physicians) in concert with the policies of Rutgers NJMS, University Hospital, and the Division of General Internal Medicine.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
