Job Objective: Provide technical support for the KWM Division for hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring smooth operation of organizational IT infrastructure. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer systems and providing user support to effectively utilize technology resources. Essential Functions: Technical Support - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications (e.g., MS 365 Suite, antivirus software), and peripherals. - Set up and maintain networks, including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems. - Manage Active Directory for user accounts, group policies, and security permissions. System Maintenance - Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure security and performance. - Conduct regular data backups and restore operations as needed including via One Drive. - Ensure antivirus, and other IT security protocols are up to date. User Support and Training - Provide end-user training on approved hardware, software, and IT systems for both MAC OS and PC throughout the division. - Assist with onboarding processes by setting up new user workstations and systems. - Develop and maintain technical documentation for IT processes and training purposes. Inventory Management - Maintain hardware/software inventory records. Collaboration and Reporting - Coordinate with IT leadership to escalate unresolved issues. - Document and log helpdesk tickets, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. Bachelor's preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience: Two years' computer programming and networking Certifications/Licenses: CompTIA A+, Network+ Preferred Skills/Abilities:
Supervisory Responsibility: None Physical Requirements: Include speaking, hearing and vision ability; manual dexterity; lifting, pulling and pushing materials up to 50 pounds; bending, squatting, crawling, walking and climbing ladders; sitting for extended periods of time; standing for extended periods of time.
