Radnor, PA (Airgas HO) - Management How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Salesforce business analyst is a project-based, business-improvement role. Business analysts help guide businesses to improve business processes and efficiency in Salesforce. They elicit, document, and analyze requirements around business challenges, and then propose data-driven solutions. Think of the Salesforce business analyst like an interpreter. They're the go-to person when it comes to communication between IT and business stakeholders to ensure all involved work together to attain the best results. They help the business understand the system capabilities and how it can help achieve their vision.

This is a position with high visibility and large levels of responsibility. Candidates will be responsible for gathering requirements, understanding the business needs. This resource will be responsible for documenting user stories, drawing up images of how the project should look inside of the CRM, communicating projects/enhancements with lead Business Analyst, writing valid and solution based acceptance criteria. Accountable for thorough analysis, well documented functional specifications, and accurate acceptance criteria

Specific Duties
  • Requirements, definition and documentation

  • Work with internal customers and client stakeholders to understand and define business requirements

  • Develop use cases and functional specifications documents

  • Solicit, gather and analyze user input and requirements

  • Identify and involve key stakeholders

  • Identify and interview internal/external subject matter experts

  • Interface with technical managers and teams

  • Collaborate with counterparts in IT (project, development, QA managers)

Required Education:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred with a study in either Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong focus on CRM systems.

Required Length & Type of Experience:

  • 1-2 years as a Business Analyst or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its capabilities.

  • Knowledge of CRM processes and best practices.

  • Experience soliciting, gathering and analyzing user input and requirements

  • Experience creating wireframe documents with information architecture

  • Experience authoring requirements, definition and related documentation

  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, business process owners, technical project managers and technical teams to execute business analysis tasks

  • Experience working with creative and technical project teams

  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, Microsoft Project and Visio or equivalent

  • Needs analysis

  • Eliciting requirements

  • Business case definition

  • Requirements writing

  • Requirements review

  • Flow and process diagramming

  • Business data analytics

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in managing time and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Capability to collaborate efficiently within a team and work autonomously over phone, email, face-to-face and virtual meetings.

  • Meet work performance and/or productivity levels whether onsite or teleworking

  • A BA should also have at least a basic understanding of these Salesforce technical skills:

    • Salesforce Lightning

    • Salesforce Administration/Configuration

    • Flows

    • Standard Objects

    • Fields

    • AppExchange

    • Automation

    • Data Management

    • Reports and Dashboards

    • CRM

    • Sales and Marketing
