Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.

Accessible Space is seeking part time Community Living Resident Support Professional. Starting wage $21.00/hour

Community Living Resident Support Professionals assist individuals 1:1 in developing independent living skills which include but not limited to: rental housing, banking, shopping, budgeting, bill-paying, grocery shopping, community integration.

Qualifications: A minimum of one year of successful experience working directly with adults with disabilities in a community setting. A minimum of one year of successful experience in a professional position requiring independent judgment and problem solving. Experience and proficiency in all areas of independent living (rental housing, banking, shopping, budgeting, bill-paying, grocery shopping, community integration, etc.). Knowledge of the community, and of community resources for independent living (housing, employment, transportation, etc.), as well as resources for designed especially for individuals with disabilities. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work respectfully with a diverse range of individuals.

Education and training in a related field, Experience in evaluating need, developing goals, and measuring goal attainment, Understanding of Medicaid, Social Security, Minnesota Supplemental Aid, HUD Housing guidelines, and waiver eligibility all a plus.
