Job Summary
Under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, uses advanced clinical skills to accurately simulate on CT simulators, deliver, verify and record routine as well as advanced courses of treatment. Assumes shift accountability including machine warm-ups. Cleans, disinfects and maintains supplies and equipment in the treatment and simulation rooms as appropriate. Participates in annual educational seminars as well as departmental and organizational projects and committees. Utilizes independent judgment and problem solving skills in communicating with patients/family members and employees.
