What Does a Warehouse Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola? Manage total warehouse operations of the Wenatchee Production Center, warehouse budget, personnel, shipping, receiving, truck loading, ordering, facility and equipment maintenance, cleanliness, security, and inventory control. Job may be expanded into fleet maintenance, DOT records, working with government regulatory agencies, or other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities:




  • Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of all warehouse operations. Have an active role in planning warehouse budgets and procedures. Supervises loading and unloading of semi-trailers and assures paperwork is accurate. Oversees or takes, processes, and keys inventory into computer daily. Researches and resolves all variances. Orders or reviews all orders for incoming products to assure proper inventory levels, stock rotation, overstocks and minimizing out-of-stocks.


  • Effectively supervises the Warehouse Department staff, ensuring optimal performance. Interviews, hires, direct and terminate warehouse personnel. Ensures that warehouse staff are appropriately trained. Conducts performance reviews as required. Provides regular feedback regarding performance of duties as outlined in job descriptions and maintains personnel files. Provides leadership and motivation to staff through effective delegation, goal setting, and communications. Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed. Ensures compliance with Company policies, safety regulations, and assures employee understanding and support of the Swire Mission Statement and Core Values.
  • Assumes responsibility for the effective maintenance of warehouse facilities. Ensures that the warehouse is safe, clean, and orderly. Maintains an adequate level of supplies and is responsible for general repairs as needed. Ensures that all areas are secure.
  • Assumes responsibility for the effective administration and coordination of warehouse activities. Prepares all associated documents, invoices, reports, etc. Keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems or concerns. Orders all necessary warehouse supplies and maintains a supply inventory.
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
  • Creates orders for Contract Customers and runs DRP for Sales Centers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Requirements:




  • High School Diploma (or GED) required or equivalent.
  • Progressive experience in warehouse management required
  • Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory practices and procedures
  • Understanding of safety procedures and OSHA requirements
  • Familiarity with plant equipment and maintenance requirements
  • Familiar with computer operation for inventory control
  • Knowledge of SAP computer system
  • KO KORE and ISO quality standards in a soft drink environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for facilities
  • Ability to motivate and lead others.
