Job Purpose and Overview

The Sr. Supply Chain Planning & Analyst Manager position exists to manage all Supply Chain Planners and Analysts for all US & Canada Distribution Centers (DCs).

This is a remote position, that operates in the Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific Time Zones. It is preferred that candidates reside within the CST or EST time zones.

What You'll Do as a Senior Supply Chain Planning & Analyst Manager



  • Manage all Supply Chain Planners and Analysts for all US & Canada Distribution Centers (DCs)
  • Lead Planning and Analyst deployment functions for all US & Canada DCs, and act as liaison between other DC departments (Sales, Manufacturing Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Marketing, Fulfillment, etc.)
  • Lead Planning team on:

    • Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) process providing input to supply and demand plans ensuring optimal inventory decisions
    • Life Cycle Management: category portfolio optimization and SKU Rat, new product launches, LTOs, and seasonal launches, including master data maintenance
    • Maintaining Constraints-based planning by proactively resolving any exceptions to supply gaps
    • Inventory Optimization module within Blue Yonder to optimize our supply position
    • Market Forecast change process partnering with the Demand Planning team


  • Lead best practice adherence for all DC Planning to:

    • Manage inventory planning (all aspects of MRP data within ECC and Blue Yonder: coverage profile, min/rounding, SPK, PDT, lead-time, etc.) to ensure fill rate, inventory and obsolescence targets are met
    • Analyze the best supply chain for managed lanes and recommend inventory moves while considering cost containment
    • Deploy and redeploy inventory across a network to support any potential supply risks


  • Provide leadership on developing new policies and procedures with technologies including Blue Yonder and SAP
  • Weekly & monthly review and reporting of performance against KPIs; including DIOH, Forecast MAPE and Bias (Mean Absolute Percentage Error), OTIF, Aged & Obsolescence Targets, BY Exception management, category metrics, etc.
  • Attract and retain strong talent and lead efforts with the recruiting team. Provide coaching and guidance to support team member development.
  • Evaluate and implement improvements to strengthen collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Demonstrate the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and support the Dawn Circle of Excellence
  • Travel up to 35% required



What Does It Take to be a Senior Supply Chain Planning & Analyst Manager at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.



  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related business degree preferred and 10 years of related supply chain experience in a distribution environment or 14 years of Supply Chain experience in lieu of degree
  • 5 years of Management experience with a minimum of 4 direct reports. Previous experience leading and developing multi-site, remote work team is highly preferred
  • Advanced SAP, Blue Yonder & Excel knowledge; hands-on experience preferred. Understanding and ability to work with current technology & future technology required.
  • Proven experience in leading and executing change initiatives
  • Food industry experience is highly preferred

Compensation Range:

$102,640 - $169,350 with a bonus incentive.
