Taft is seeking an experienced Conflicts Analyst to join our dynamic team of legal professionals in our Denver office.

The Conflicts Analyst is a staff member of the Conflicts Department in the Denver office and is responsible forperforming a wide variety of technical record-keeping and coordination duties involving the accurate entry, analysis, and communication of conflicts information for the firm.

Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:



  • Process daily requests from lawyers, paralegals and secretaries regarding entities to be searched in the Firm's conflicts database system in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Prepare thorough reports pertinent to the requested conflicts search and sends to staff conflicts attorney, other designated attorneys and/or secretaries.
  • Update and maintains an accurate and streamlined conflicts database.
  • Assist with the linking of related parties to clients/matters in the Records system.
  • Research and provide accurate information upon request to the Firm's attorneys or other internal staff.
  • Assist others in Conflicts performing research, analysis and department functions such as delivery of files, and client/matter maintenance as workload permits.


Qualifications:



  • 1 year of technical experience performing duties and thorough understanding of use ofaccurate search criteria in the conflicts search process.
  • Familiarity with general processes, systems philosophies, structure, methods, and approaches of mid-to-large sized firms.
  • Knowledge of law office practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge and strong understanding of conflicts processes and practices, including proper use of search criteria to obtain accurate results.
  • Knowledge of records, files, and related practices as used in a law office.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, copy machines, scanning equipment, and telephones.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook and Word.
  • Strong commitment, organizational skills, and work ethic in delivering customer services and products in a timely and organized manner.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain accurate and detailed information, records, and reports.

Taft offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, life, long term disability, flexible spending, 401K, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, bonus and more. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $58,000/year. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted information based on work experience, education, and/or skill level.
