Lead Android Engineer (Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in Android mobile development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 12 years of experience in Android development and a proven track record of leading successful projects. This role is hybrid with no travel required and offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact millions of users.

Location: Plano Texas (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Android developers to design develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications

Oversee the entire development lifecycle from concept to deployment ensuring timely delivery of projects

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers designers and QA engineers to define and implement new features

Ensure code quality and performance through code reviews testing and continuous integration

Manage project timelines resources and budgets to ensure successful project delivery

Identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks ensuring smooth project execution

Communicate effectively with stakeholders providing regular updates on project status and progress

Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the mobile platform ensuring scalability and maintainability

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the development process and team productivity

Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards in all mobile applications

Qualifications

Possess strong experience in Android development including proficiency in Android Programming Language and Android Developer Too

Demonstrate expertise in Android App Distribution Android Architecture & Design and Android

Native App development

Exhibit a deep understanding of the Android Work Model and its application in a hybrid work environment

Showcase excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively

Have a proven track record of leading successful mobile development projects and managing teams

Display strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
