Job Description

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Missouri is pleased to announce an opening for a Patient Service Representative in our Allergy Clinic.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), nursing staff, and administrative personnel. A strong focus on customer service and being organized are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling appointments.
* Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate areas as needed.
* Monitor and respond to PowerChart messages from patients, staff, nursing, and clinicians.
* Process vial refills and collect payments when necessary.

Shift

Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.
Six (6) months of experience with frontline customer service and guest relations duties and skills.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $14-21.18
Grade: PAT:3A
