Embrace Health Line Cook Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Cleans and maintains station in practicing safety, sanitation, and organization skills.
• Follows recipes, portion control and presentation specifications.
• Sets up work station according to Southminster guidelines.
• Restocks all items as needed during production and service.
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station.
• Assists in cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and storage areas.
• Other related duties as assigned by Dietary Supervisor or Dietary Manager.

Southminster is open year round, which will require availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year experience in quality food production and training in food service.
• Previous formal or on the job training in food storage, preparation, cooking and estimating quantities of food.
