The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences Job Description
The Office Support Associate will perform office and administrative support duties with an emphasis on planning, logistics and organization/coordination. The individual in this position will: o Provide administrative support to faculty for meeting logistics and calendaring, ensuring that appropriate resources are available. Transcribe scholarly documents and produce presentations in MS PowerPoint. Assist with confidential files. o Collaborate with faculty and biannually report on their activities utilizing MU School of Medicine's Mission-Based Management (MBM) system. o Serve in the role of Student Coordinator for the department under the guidance of the Director of Anatomy Teaching. Maintain course waitlists and communicate with students and advisors across departments during peak periods throughout the academic year. Utilize CourseLeaf and MyZou to edit courses and generate permission numbers. o Support faculty and chief residents with administrative tasks (i.e. Grades, add/drop, visiting students) related to PAS pathology and anatomy courses. o Serve as the first point of contact for the Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences (PAS) greet visitors, answer main phone line. Screen and respond as needed to PAS office inquiries. Ensure the office area is orderly and well-maintained. o Manage print jobs on behalf of faculty and residents (i.e., poster presentations) through approved vendors. Shift
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Years of Experience: 3-5 Anticipated Hiring Range
