Role:Test Lead (Onsite)

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)

• Automation Test Script Development: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to test web-based applications.
• Test Planning and Implementation: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases, build test plans, and conduct automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Framework Development: Develop and improve reusable automation frameworks, libraries, and tools to improve testing efficiency.
• Continuous Integration (CI): Integrate test scripts into the CI/CD pipeline for automated test execution and reporting.
• Bug Reporting and Tracking: Identify, document, and report issues/bugs found during automation testing, and work with developers to resolve them.
• Teamwork: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other collaborators to ensure test coverage and accurate defect reporting.
• Test Data Management: Build and manage test data for automated tests, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on automation test scripts, procedures, and results for future reference.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Experience with version control systems Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Proficiency in web automation and browser compatibility testing.
• Tools & Technologies:
• Experience with Jenkins, Maven, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing solutions (e.g., Sauce Labs, Browser-Stack) is a plus.
