ABOUT THE JOB

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Senior Unexploded Ordnance Supervisor to provide expertise in proposal writing and work plan development and providing technical support for field projects involving investigation and/or remediation of munitions and explosives of concern.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and technical expertise in the planning MEC surveys, investigations, and removal operations.
  • Ensure personnel compliance with TP-18 standards and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate MEC-related risks and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
  • Support the development of comprehensive proposals for MEC-related projects, including assumptions for cost estimates, project timelines, and methodologies.
  • Conduct research and gather relevant data to support proposal development.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proposals meet client requirements and align with organizational objectives.
  • Assist in the creation of detailed work plans for MEC projects, outlining field approach, objectives, resources, and timelines.
  • Work closely with project managers and support staff to develop realistic and achievable work plans.
  • Air with preparation of technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Conduct quality reviews of proposals, work plans, and project documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in MEC operations, proposal writing, and work plan development.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in MEC operations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • SUXOS qualified in accordance with TP-18, Table 4-1
  • Graduate of an OSHA-compliant (29 CFR 1910.120(e)(4)) 8-hour Management and Supervisor Training course
  • 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Training and earned a Department of Labor Construction Safety Course Completion Card
