WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Interfaces with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met.

- Studies production schedules and labor requirements for completion of job assignments.

- Prioritizes to meet production schedules.

- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.

- Coordinates manpower requirements by increasing or decreasing personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions.

- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work-related problems.

- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.

- Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to VPO.

- Assists with designs and fabrication of equipment or fixtures used in our production and maintenance processes to improve operations.

- Performs activities of workers supervised.

- Interprets company policies for employees and enforces safety regulations

YOU HAVE:
- Associate degree or equivalent from technical school, or 1+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Maintain welding certification as required for in house Weld Procedures.

- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, properly planning, developing and delegating team members.

- Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands including working within a manufacturing environment, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequently stand, stoop, kneel and crouch.

- Ability to work 8:00pm - 6:30am, Sunday thru Wednesday nights; and the potential to work overtime.
