Summary Responsible for retaining existing client base/large account business and growing, developing new revenue streams/account business through the launch of new products and services. Directs ASO business (stop loss and/or fully funded insurance) marketing areas. Directs marketing staff and marketing services processes. Description

50% Directs/leads sales of limited benefit products and/or ASO business marketing areas. Negotiates with national prospects, brokers, and underwriting carrier to develop custom plans and marketing plans and strategies.

20% Directs the marketing processes and product offerings to increase/retain business and existing accounts. Provides account financial/underwriting analysis review and consultation for Business Processing Outsourcing Partnerships (BPOS).

10% Directs/recommends the marketing strategies used to set company apart from competitors. Monitors marketplace needs and provides feedback to enhance corporate products and marketplace position. Manages company image using print materials, web presence, presentation/events, etc.

10% Manages the completion of Requests for Proposals(RFPS) and requests for information (RFIS) from Business Process Outsourcing Partnerships (BPOS) and consultants. Directs the ASO (stop-loss and/or fully funded insurance) marketing areas. Develops/oversees the preferred carrier program.

10% Develops/trains/guides/directs account managers and client service team. Directs department activities/procedures for effectiveness. Serves as liaison between marketing and senior management.

Required Education: Bachelor's in a job related field

Degree Equivalency: 4 years job related experience or Associate's and 2 years job related experience.

Required Work Experience: 8 years sales/marketing management of large employer benefit accounts or communications. 3 of the 8 years must have been in management role or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.
