Overview: The Supervisor, Marketing and Sales Development will oversee the daily productivity of the team and is responsible for the development of their respective teams. This position will serve as a player, coach and mentor and perform regular quality and productivity reviews.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Direct responsibility of the day to day and overall performance, training, and development of the team to effectively prioritize departmental work to ensure the team meets expectations and monthly goals of calls, talk time, and the creation of Marketing Qualified Leads;


  • Responsible for onboarding new hires and tracking performance;
  • Manage and implement additional programs to assist with key strategic programs;
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual Engagement review sessions;
  • Track and monitor performance of individuals to develop periodic and yearly evaluation criteria including and development areas, strengths, and goals/objectives;
  • Facilitate continuing training for product knowledge and ensuring team members understands and communicates knowledge about each Inovalon service to internal and external audiences;
  • Assist in the selection of new MDR/SDR Team members;
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.


  • Research, identify and contact named individuals by buyer persona and job titles within prospect organizations;
  • Initiate outbound phone calls, emails and maintain a social media presence focused on lead generation and appointment setting;
  • Document activities and results. Leverage data to identify the highest return activities and messaging within each target market by title and buyer persona;
  • Establish monthly goals and report progress against those goals for call volume, quality prospect conversations and count of leads created;
  • Contribute to weekly meetings by providing progress updates and suggestions to the team;
  • Be accountable for working independently and collaboratively and delivering results aligned with your role and job responsibilities;


Job Requirements:



  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a supervisor in a high-volume call center, preferably within the health care field;
  • Outbound sales experience including telemarketing and customer service preferred;
  • Superior team leadership skills with demonstrated excellence in motivating, developing, and retaining front-line employees;
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with company personnel, customers, and professionals at all levels; and
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain records in a well-organized manner.


Education:



  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required; and
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.


Physical Demands and Work Environment:



  • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time). Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$63,100 $68,000 USD
