Senior Software Engineer - Angular

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Software Engineer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.

You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. • Lead the development and maintenance of web applications using Angular 10+, CSS, and HTML.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications work across various devices.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for code and processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

• 8 to 10 years of experience in development.
• Strong expertise in Angular 10+, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience in the Payer domain is a plus.
• Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
