FLOAT LPN - WEEKEND NIGHTS ($40/HR)

Responsiblities:

River Park Hospital has a Part-Time Float LPN Opportunity: At our Huntington & Barboursville, WV Locations

Part-time:

• Weekend Nights- FRIDAY & SATURDAY EVENING (7PM TO 7AM - 12 HOUR SHIFTS)
• Must be able to work any unit assigned ( At River Park or Barboursville)
• Weekend Rate: $40/hour plus applicable shift differentials.

The LPN implements nursing care for assigned patients and assists the RN in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care.

This includes demonstrating competency in strong basic patient care skills, clerical/courier duties, stocking, transporting, performing EKG's, phlebotomy, specific patient care duties, and other departmental duties as requested. Primarily works in progressive care setting, but may be floated as needed treating all diversities. Actively demonstrates a passion for patient care while demonstrating service recovery if needed and displays service excellence at all times. Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing activities.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• Completion of basic arrhythmia module within initial 90 days
• Completion of a 30 hour post-graduate IV therapy course for LPNs provided by a
• BLS (current upon hire)
• Current WV LPN license.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
