Procurement Technician NIH

Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking a Procurement Technician to join our team in Rockville, MD in support of the NIH.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in electronic procurement file preparation, including matching invoices to acquisition files, following up on receiving issues or order problems, and redacting information from the file when required and preparing the file for review.
• Obtain Invoices from vendors when necessary.
• Work with NIAID staff members to ensure that receiving is entered into AMBIS for each order.
• Perform Customer service. Works with vendors on invoicing questions as necessary, helps resolve concerns with NIAID staff when required.
• Assist purchasing agents with the reconciliation cycle of their purchase cards. This involves working with electronic systems, excel spreadsheets and other staff members to validate information in the files, ensure the files are complete and give the purchasing agent the information they need to complete their reconciliation timely.
• Work almost exclusively through electronic systems, many of which are unique to NIAID (AMBIS, SAFE) and others that are unique to NIH (NBS, PRISM).
• Sort and distribute procurement mail as required.
