Job Purpose and Overview

The Financial Analyst I will work within the Commercial Finance team and be a key business partner supporting Market / Distribution accounts with responsibilities in critical areas supporting P&L management. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated proactivity, thrive in a fast-paced environment & have a drive to expand their knowledge. They will be externally focused and provide business support within Finance, Sales, Marketing, R&D & Commercial leadership.

This is a hybrid position and will report to the Jackson, MI office approximately 2 days/week.

What will you do as a Financial Analyst I at Dawn Foods?

• Perform standard & ad-hoc reporting for business partners. Leveraging on-the-job learning of Dawn's business to drive favorable outcomes based on reporting generated.
• Support the development of new business analytics to influence key decision-making & profitability governance.
• Support the Commercial Finance team in delivering strategic & operational support to the commercial team (Sales & Marketing).
• Work closely with Financial Analyst III & Commercial Finance Manager on projects throughout the year based on current business needs.
• Support review of pricing analysis at micro & macro levels.
• Develop & leverage your ability to analyze key business drivers & present clear, concise recommendations based on findings to influence business decisions.

What Does It Take to be a Financial Analyst I at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
• A completed internship or 1 year of professional work experience in Finance, Accounting, or similar is strongly preferred.
• SAP and Oracle experience desired.

• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks within an open and interactive environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written communication.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet short deadlines.
• Excel experience, comfortable analyzing large data sets, utilizing pivot tables & charts, creating graphs, lookups, if statements, etc.

Compensation Range:

$55,900 - $84,970 with bonus incentive.
