We're looking for a dynamic leader to drive our operational goals and inspire our teams. The Senior Manager will lead and motivate Production Supervisors and Managers to exceed customer expectations and quality standard; tackle technical challenges, manage resources, and keep production and shipping on track. The Senior Manager will foster a culture of customer focus, technical excellence, problem-solving, teamwork, safety, and employee ownership. The Senior Manager will grow their leadership skills and business acumen, positioning them for a seamless transition into a General Manager position as part of the company's succession planning strategy. Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations across departments, ensuring efficiency. Manages performance and sets goals for Supervisor teams.
- Assigns, or delegates responsibility for, specified work or functional activities and disseminates policy to supervisors.
- Analyze reports and direct supervisors on plans and problem-solving.
- Crosstrain and move direct labor resources to increase utilization in the facility.
- Monitor costs, prepare budgets, generate financial reports to enhance cost-efficiency.
- Ensures schedule execution to meet shipping plans and OTD / TAT targets.
- Enforce policies, manage schedules, and ensure FAA compliance.
- Partner with Human Resources to resolve performance issues.
- Maintain high employee morale and safety standards.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of operations leadership experience within the manufacturing industry (aerospace preferred).
- Technical background related to the overhaul and repair of gas turbine engines is a plus.
- Financial acumen and budgeting skills with the ability to work in a cost-effective manner.
- Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and work-in-process documents.
- Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to have candid conversations and coach teams.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt preferred.
- Expert in Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
