Work Schedule: PRN. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. One or two days a week but schedule may vary. You will work at 610 N. Whitney Way, Madison WI. We are seeking a Cardiovascular Sonography Instructor to: Follow the School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography CAAHEP accredited curriculum, educate, and grade students enrolled in the School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. Ensure that students are well prepared for the following certification examinations conducted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers: Sonographic Principles and Instrumentation (SPI); Adult Echocardiography (RDCS, AE); Pediatric Echocardiography (PE), and Vascular Technology (RVT). Qualifications Associate's Degree Required Graduate of an accredited program in diagnostic medical sonography Required Bachelor's Degree in Education or another relevant field Preferred Work Experience 3 years full-time professional experience as an adult echo sonographer Required 5 years full-time professional experience as an adult echo and vascular sonographer Preferred Licenses & Certifications American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification in the following specialties: * RDCS (Adult Echocardiography) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) Upon Hire Required ACS (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer), RDCS (Pediatric Echocardiography) Preferred Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion UW Health is committed to being a diverse, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
