Fiduciary Strategy Manager
Ideate and create actionable plans to improve the overall trust organization and serve as a visionary for the trust organization to help set the strategic direction. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities across the organization to ensure operational efficiency and risk reduction through regular audits/assessments/reviews of operational processes and operating norms.
Position Responsibilities:
Fiduciary Strategy & Execution


  • Serve as primary point of contact for resources from the SLOD and TLOD for any regulatory or compliance-related inquiries, changing regulations, or audits to help prioritize, structure, and execute efficient and timely responses / changes needed within trust.
  • Provide oversite and reporting on the Regulation 9 Reviews being completed as well as Account Reviews to drive compliance for the organization.
  • Develop and implement process excellence initiatives across the trust organization focused on continuous improvement of workflows.
  • Establish effective communication and collaboration with other departments (relationship management, private wealth, risk, and investment teams) to ensure efficient, cohesive, non-duplicative, and compliant processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on process improvement practices.
  • Oversee the execution of day-to-day risk mitigation and process improvement initiatives / tasks, providing guidance and support to trust advisors and operational teams. Provide expertise and support for complex process improvement issues.
  • Correspond directly with risk and compliance resources to determine the best way to stay ahead of changing regulations as well as push risk and compliance best practices throughout the trust organization.
  • Evaluate current use of technology and systems to identify opportunities for enhanced operational processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist with correspondence with external auditors and regulators to set the standard of fiduciary risk and compliance excellence.


Fiduciary Strategy & Planning


  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to performance of the organization and overall fiduciary excellence of the trust organization.
  • Monitor industry trends and developments to ensure relationship management and operational execution stays ahead of the rest of the market.


Leadership and Management


  • Develop and implement training programs for Fiduciary Strategy staff and other trust personnel to mitigate risk and improve operational processes.
  • Foster a culture of prudent risk management and excellence in process improvement practices across the trust organization.
  • Provide training and support to staff on process improvement methodologies and best practices.

Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Technology, Finance, Accounting, Management, or Trust Administration
  • 7 years of experience within the financial services industry, with a focus in the areas of trust administration, operations, technology, project management and / or strategic planning
  • 7 years supervisory experience leading teams that may be geographically dispersed.

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
