ECD, a Pavion company is seeking a talented and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our security business unit working in the greater metro Phoenix area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- This role will primarily be installing the Rauland nurse call system in multiple hospital locations throughout the Phoenix metro area
Assist with the installation and setup of low voltage systems
Able to work on large commercial installations involving wiring and programming equipment
Follow wiring diagrams and technical instructions to complete installations and repairs
Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and industry regulations
Communicate effectively with Project Manager, Project Supervisors, and Project Coordinators
Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in low voltage systems is a plus
- 2+ years working with low voltage systems
- Experience with Access Control products, Security Systems, Cameras, and Alarms
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, tools, and work in various physical environments
- Available to work primarily a 6 am to 230 pm schedule but sometimes night work is required based on hospital activity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with security systems such as Genetec or Lenel
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
