Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager role will be key to the implementation of processes and timely execution of major projects. This contributor will have a centralized role amongst the various departments and stakeholders of AITX's major initiatives and will be responsible for reporting progress to Senior Leadership

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process Construction and Improvement- The Business Transformation Group will work with all AITX departments to have clearly defined processes with named owners and supporting documentation.
      • Establishing Foundations - As new processes are designed and implemented, this role will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure we are establishing processes that scale and are also resilient
      • Reshaping Execution - The goal for this role will be to establish efficiency around the organization, utilizing existing or new technologies to support AITX's business needs.
      • Continuous Improvement - This role will also lead continuous improvement exercises across the business, utilizing and leveraging existing processes for enhancing our service delivery.
  • Project Management- Lead and support high-profile cross functional projects in support of long-term business strategy and execution. Ensure our focus areas align with AITX's long-term objectives. Work within existing structures and project committees to review and prioritize projects to ensure AITX is focusing resources on the most impactful projects for the business.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting- Align with key stakeholders on establishing clear metrics & KPIs across the departments and for the organization to monitor progress on major projects, initiatives and long-term objectives. Execute post implementation reviews to ensure we have effectively met the goals of major initiatives and establish mechanisms to identify further needs of the business following execution.
  • Change Management- Handle change management processes across organization and work as a liaison amongst groups and leadership to recommend responsibilities and task ownership

Education and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management or other related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred but not required
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management
  • Effective verbal and written communication at all levels
  • Self-motivated and task driven
  • Adaptable to change and able to work across departments and disciplines
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail focused and attention to follow-up
  • Proficient use of MS Office products, specifically Excel
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
