Essential Embrace Health Scheduler Duties/ Responsibilities:



  • The scheduler is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all shift coverage, call outs, maintaining schedule changes, and working with Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers on all changes to the schedule.
  • The scheduler is a supportive role to the DON in Healthcare and will be responsible for departmental payroll including reconciliation, approving schedules, reviewing PTO requests, changes to the schedule as well as other duties associated with departmental payroll processing.
  • The Scheduler will gather documents, process, finalize and send monthly billing of Long-Term Care filing in Healthcare, this does NOT include initial insurance processing or phone calls to and from insurance companies.
  • The Scheduler will also work on a neighborhood as a CNA and/or Med Aide at the direction of the DON as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education required:

High School Graduate, Active North Carolina CNA Certificate. Certified as a Med Aide in both Adult Care Homes and Skilled Nursing in North Carolina or be willing to obtain the necessary certification within 6 months of hire.

Experience required:

One (1) year verifiable work experience, preferably in a related capacity.

Professional license or certification requirements:

NC Certified Nursing Assistant and NC Certified Med Aide for Adult Care Homes and Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required:



  • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills as well as working as a member of team.
